File paths in folder for subfolders

To make it short, I have downloaded the q3Rq3 files for Mac and when I decompress the files no matter what I use, I get no subdirectories in the q3rq3 folder. So every file is in the same 1 folder.
Can anyone post a few lines how the folder should look like for the game to be played?

Something like this:

So that is the RQ3 folder (for example: E:\Games\Quake III Arena\rq3)

I think you have downloaded only the 3.2 update file.

It seems that there are no Full 3.2 -files for MAC, or atleast I didn't found anyone from the download -section.

The .ZIP file should work fine. Macs still have unstuffit or something built in which can decompress them.

The problem did appear that he had only the 3.2 upgrade and not the 3.2 full package.
