I'm making some decent progress on the UI and I wanted to show you people how it turned out so far. While I'm doing my best to not get overly excited about it, I honestly think that it's going to be one of the best looking Q3-based menus around.

Oh, and before anyone asks, the white substance you are seeing is baking soda!

As you can see, we have also taken into account the aspect ratio differences between various monitors, meaning that no matter what resolution you use, Reaction will always look great! This is all thanks to Makro, our ever-busy Eastern European programmer and entrepreneur, who drops by from time to time to help us out with his undeniably exceptional coding and mapping skills. And who knows, maybe he will be the next one to post news here?

btw this idea from Mainmenu on a table, excist in the old Quake 3 Arena modification called "Western Quake 3" now its called "Smokin Guns" But this in rq is better anyway again very nice work

enemene: Yes, I'm aware of the similarities! However, their menu is entirely 2D, whereas ours is 3D. I really like Smokin' Guns, though. Futsin has been making videos for them, and he's part of our team, too.

Hey, sorry I've not been updating lately. You'll notice I haven't been in IRC either. I'm in the middle of moving into a new house! And no internet connection and computer set up yet. And, to top things off, "rq3.com" is normally blocked at my workplace for being "gaming related". DOH! Anyway, I'm still around and will be back in action once I get my move finished!
